The training program includes a range of topics such as data acquisition, processing, analysis, and interpretation.
  •  For working level staff: The training program focuses on GIS software for mapping, data management, and analysis. It covers topics such as creating and editing GIS layers, generating thematic maps, and performing spatial analysis.
  •  Usage of KSRSAC maps: The training program is designed to assist line department officials in understanding the maps generated by KSRSAC and their applications in various development works. The training covers topics such as map interpretation, map scale, and map projection.
  •  Mobile applications: The training program is designed to assist line department officials in understanding the mobile applications developed by KSRSAC. It includes topics such as data collection using the mobile application, data analysis, and report generation.
  •  DSS web portal: The training program is intended to assist line department officials in understanding the DSS web portal developed by KSRSAC for planning and management. The training covers topics such as accessing the portal, using its various features, and generating reports.
  •  Advanced technical workshops: The workshops are designed to provide advanced training on remote sensing and GIS technologies to line department officials of the Government of Karnataka. These workshops cover topics such as image processing techniques, advanced spatial analysis, and 3D modeling.
Educational Institutions
  •  Faculty and students training: KSRSAC offers training to faculty members and students of universities and colleges on Remote Sensing and GIS. This training covers topics such as data acquisition, data processing, analysis, and interpretation, as well as the use of GIS software for mapping, data management, and analysis.
  •  Invited lectures: KSRSAC delivers invited lectures at universities, staff colleges, and other institutions to promote the use of Remote Sensing and GIS technologies in the state. The lecture sessions cover topics such as the benefits of using these technologies, case studies of successful implementations, and emerging trends in the field.
